Interest in mindfulness is increasing. We are living in an increasingly busy and stressful world. Often we are wrapped up in thoughts and feelings, constantly moving from one thing to another without a moments peace. Sometimes its useful to stop and ask How is my mind right now?

Is it busy? calm? Are your thoughts racing? Is it a confusing picture or crystal clear?

What is mindfulness?

  1. a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.
